Baked Chicken and Rice Alfredo
Ingredients:
6 - 8 ounce split chicken breasts (bone in, skin on)
2 cups prepared FIVE STAR PARMESAN CREAM SAUCE
2 cups water
1 cup uncooked white, long grain rice
1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
1 1/2 teaspoons FIVE STAR ITALIAN SEASONING Chopped fresh parsley for garnish
Directions:
Preheat oven to 375F. Combine cheese and ITALIAN SEASONING and set aside.
Combine rice, water and prepared PARMESAN CREAM SAUCE, mix well and
pour into an 11 x 15 pan. Place chicken breasts on top of rice and bake for 30
minutes. Remove from oven, sprinkle cheese mixture over breasts and bake for
30 minutes more or until chicken is cooked through. Top with chopped parsley
and serve 1 breast and a scoop of rice per person.
This recipe produces 6 portions.
