Char-grilled or Broiled Steaks
Ingredients:
1 ½ pounds ribeye steak (or use T-bone, New York Strip or Tenderloin)
1 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 ½ tablespoons FIVE STAR CANADIAN GRILLE (or substitute CAJUN or GARLIC CRACKED
PEPPER) SEASONING
Directions:
If not pre-portioned, cut the ribeye into 2 - 12 ounce steaks. Brush both sides
of
the steaks with vegetable oil then sprinkle the seasoning evenly on both sides.
Cook on a char-grill or broiler for 3 minutes per side per inch of steak
thickness
for medium rare or until cooked to desired doneness. Serve with seasoned roasted
red potatoes.
This recipe produces approximately 2 – 12 ounce portions.
Hint: These steaks are also great seasoned with FIVE STAR TERIYAKI
GRILLE SEASONING. Just substitute 2 ¼ tablespoons of TERIYAKI GRILLE
for the 1 ½ tablespoons of CANADIAN GRILLE, CAJUN or GARLIC
CRACKED PEPPER SEASONINGS and cook as directed.
