Coney Island Meat Sauce
Ingredients:
3 pounds ground beef
1/2 cup FIVE STAR BEEF CHILIMAK'R™ (about 5oz.)
1quart water
1 tablespoon chili powder
3/4 cup tomato paste
Directions:
Brown ground beef in a large skillet. Pour off fat. Add FIVE STAR BEEF
CHILIMAK'R™, water, and chili powder. Stir well to dissolve the ChiliMak'r.
Simmer uncovered for 20 minutes. Stir in tomato paste and simmer another 2
minutes or until desired consistency is reached. Keep hot and serve or chill for
future use.
This recipe produces approximately 64-1 ounce portions.
