Canadian Braised Pork
Ingredients:
2 tablespoons canola oil
2 pounds lean, cubed raw pork
2 tablespoons FIVE STAR CANADIAN GRILLE SEASONING
1 cup Canadian beer
1 teaspoon FIVE STAR PORK STOCK
1 cup water
1 quart prepared CHEF SID'S VEAL DEMI-GLACÉ
Directions:
Heat the oil in a large soup pot. Season the meat with CANADIAN GRILLE
SEASONING. Brown the meat over high heat then add the beer and let simmer
for 5 minutes. Add the PORK STOCK and water and stir well. Add the VEAL
DEMI-GLACÉ and simmer covered over low heat for 1 ½ hours, stirring often,
until the meat is fork tender. Serve this braised pork on mashed potatoes,
steamed
rice or buttered noodles as a satisfying entrée.
