Five Star Beef Stroganoff
Ingredients:
3 pounds cubed tender raw beef
1 tablespoon FIVE STAR CANADIAN GRILLE SEASONING
2 tablespoons olive oil
2 cups prepared FIVE STAR VEAL DEMI-GLACE
1/4 cup FIVE STAR CHARDONNAY CREAM SAUCE BASE
1 tablespoon FIVE STAR CARAMELIZED ONION FLAVORMAK'R
1 tablespoon FIVE STAR WILD MUSHROOM FLAVORMAK'R
1/2 cup sour cream
Directions:
Toss the beef with the CANADIAN GRILLE SEASONING until the meat is
evenly coated. Working in two batches, heat 1 tablespoon of the oil in a large
sauté pan, add 1/2 of the beef and brown all over. Remove the meat from the
pan and set aside. Repeat with the remaining oil and beef. Add the prepared
VEAL DEMI-GLACE, CHARDONNAY CREAM SAUCE BASE,
CARAMELIZED ONION and WILD MUSHROOM FLAVORMAK’R to the
pan and whisk together while bringing to a boil. Add the beef and sour cream
to the pan, stir well and cook until just heated through, do not boil! Serve hot
over buttered egg noodles as a satisfying entree.
Makes approximately 6 servings.
