Maine Cod Chowder

Ingredients:
2 tablespoons butter
4 ounces sliced mushrooms
1 clove garlic, minced
1/2 cup diced yellow onion
1 cup diced celery
2 tablespoons dry FIVE STAR CREAM SAUCE PREP
1 quart water
2 tablespoons FIVE STAR FISH FUMET STOCK
2 cups diced, skin on red potatoes
1 quart prepared FIVE STAR CREAM SAUCE PREP
1 teaspoon FIVE STAR PREMIUM SEASONING SALT
1 pound raw cod, cut into large dice

Directions:
Heat the butter in a large soup pot. Add the mushrooms, garlic, onion, celery and
potatoes and PREMIUM SEASONING SALT. Saute over medium heat for 4
minutes. Sprinkle the 2 tablespoons dry CREAM SAUCE PREP over the
vegetables and stir well. Add the finished CREAM SAUCE PREP, water, FISH
FUMET STOCK and cod and then simmer for 20 minutes.

This recipe produces approximately 4 - 10 ounce portions.
