Pasta with Sundried Tomato Cream Sauce
Ingredients:
4 quarts water
2 teaspoons salt
1 pound dry short pasta (penne, fusilli, ziti,etc.)
1 quart prepared FIVE STAR PARMESAN CREAM SAUCE
1/4 cup FIVE STAR SUNDRIED TOMATO PESTO
Freshly grated Parmesan cheese and chopped parsley for garnish.
Directions:
Bring the water and salt to a boil in a large pot. Add the pasta and cook
according
to package directions or until al dente. Meanwhile, bring the prepared
PARMESAN CREAM SAUCE to a simmer in a saucepan. Add the SUNDRIED
TOMATO PESTO, cover and keep warm until needed. When the pasta is done,
drain it well and put it back into the pot it was cooked in. Stir in the sauce
then
portion onto plates and serve garnished with the Parmesan cheese and chopped
parsley sprinkled over the top.
