Roasted Garlic Mashed Potatoes
Ingredients:
6 large russet potatoes
3/4 cup prepared FIVE STAR CREAM SAUCE PREP
6 tablespoons butter, cut into pieces
11/2 tablespoons FIVE STAR ROASTED GARLIC FLAVORMAK'R
1 teaspoon FIVE STAR PREMIUM SEASONING SALT
Directions:
Preheat an oven to 425F. Wash potatoes and prick all over with a fork. Put on a
pan and bake for 1 hour or until tender when pierced. Meanwhile, combine
remaining ingredients in a saucepan and slowly bring to a simmer while whisking.
Cover, set aside and keep warm. Remove potatoes from oven and let cool until
they can be handled. Cut them in half, scoop out the flesh and put in a stand
mixer
with the flat paddle attachment in place. Mix for 1 minute on low speed until
potatoes are broken up. Add sauce to the potatoes, mix until smooth. Keep hot
for
use immediately or chill and reheat when needed.
This recipe produces approximately 8 portions.
