Roasted Red Pepper and Cheese Frittata
Ingredients:
4 tablespoons FIVE STAR ROASTED RED BELL PEPPER FLAVORMAK'R
1/2 cup prepared FIVE STAR CREAM SAUCE PREP
12 large eggs
4 tablespoons butter, divided
1 cup julienned red bell pepper, divided
1/2 cup shredded Monterey jack cheese, divided
Directions:
Whisk together the RED BELL PEPPER FLAVORMAK'R and prepared
CREAM SAUCE in a mixing bowl. Crack in the eggs and whisk well to blend.
Heat 1 tablespoon of the butter until foaming in a non-stick omelet pan. Add
1/4 cup of the red bell peppers and cook while stirring until crisp-tender.
Remove 3 nice pepper strips and set aside for garnish. Add 3/4 cup (6 ounces)
of the egg mixture to the pan and cook while stirring until starting to set.
Turn
heat down to low, cover and let cook until set (about 1 minute). Flip the
frittata
over and top with 2 tablespoons of the cheese. Cook one minute more. Remove
the frittata from the pan, top with the reserved pepper strips then serve.
Repeat
to make 3 more frittatas.
This recipe makes 4 servings.
