White Chicken Chili
Ingredients:
2 tablespoon vegetable oil
1 pound raw chicken meat, diced
1 cup lager style beer
2 - ounce jar pimentos, diced
1 - 4 ounce can mild diced green chilies (drained)
1 - 16 ounce can garbanzo beans (drained)
2 - 16 ounce cans great northern beans (drained)
1 -11 ounce can tomatillos (drained)
2 cups water
1/4 cup FIVE STAR WHITE CHILIMAK'R®
Directions:
Heat the oil in a large soup pot and add the chicken. Saute over high heat until
chicken is lightly browned. Add the beer, water and WHITE CHILIMAK'R. Add
the diced red peppers, green chilies and drained beans. Stir well and simmer
uncovered for 45 minutes, while stirring often.
Serve hot with a variety of your favorite toppings such as sour cream, shredded
marble jack cheese, diced green onions etc.
This recipe produces approximately 6 - 12 ounce portions.
